Meet the Graduates!

Ken and Summer received their Square Dancing Diploma from the Star Twirlers after a year of classes led by Roy, and the guidance of many seasoned dancers.

Peggy and David were so "sweet" to bring a cookie cake!

Frequently Asked Quesions

1. How often are classes?
Classes are held each Saturday from 6:45-7:45pm at Allemande Hall in Chattanooga, TN.

2. How much does it cost?
Each class is $5 per person ($10 per couple).

3. How long does it take to learn?
We are always learning, but to become proficient enough to dance at our parties, it typically takes a year of classes. Some students learn in 9 months, while others take a bit longer.
*When you graduate from class, you'll be able to dance at any Square Dance- nationwide.

4. What do I wear?
Wear something you'll feel comfortable in. Ladies should wear a low heel or flat shoes, (a closed toe will protect your feet while you're learning).
*When you graduate, ladies are asked to wear a skirt to parties, and men are to wear long sleeved shirts.

5. Do I need a partner?
It is easiest to have a partner, however, please don't feel intimidated if you are coming solo; we'll make sure someone is at your side!
